KUCCPS Career Mentorship Blog

Jeremiah Nyagah Technical Institute Marketing committee attended the Embu County Career Mentorship Program organized by the Embu County Comrades Association (ECCA) in conjunction with the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS). The event which was held at Kangaru School, attracted over ten(10) Universities and over twelve (12) tertiary colleges. With over 800 youth in attendance, it was a perfect platform to encourage the youth to embrace technical skills as there is a current paradigm shift in today’s labour market.

The institute was one amongst three other technical institutes mentioned by Hon. Cecile Mbarire, Governor of Embu county, as those that offer Science, Technology, Engineering,  Agriculture and Mathematics geared towards aligning the country for the achievement of vision 2030. The event was also graced by Manyatta Member of Parliament, Gitonga Mukunji, Chief officer- Gender, Youth and Sports, Embu County Pithon Muchoki and other government representatives.
