On 12th October 2023, The Jeremiah Nyagah National Polytechnic was honoured to host our Permanent secretary, Dr. Esther Muoria, Hon. Joshua Kandie-MP Baringo Central, Ministry of Education officials and The Chief Executive Officer of Buildingswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (bbw gGmbH) with his team.

This followed signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the MOE and Buildingswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (bbw gGmbH), which seeks to provide employment for Kenyan youth in the TVET sector abroad.
This move was facilitated by Hon. Kandie, who has been motivated by his love for young people and has been working with BBW. Thanks to this initiative, supported by the MOU between the German company and MOE, our TVET graduates have received thorough briefings on the career opportunities in Germany.

A pre-selection exercise of TVET graduates was scheduled in sampled TVETs where graduates drawn from different institutions were briefed on the expectations of the pre-selection requirements for German companies. Jeremiah Nyaga National Polytechnic was one of the TVET institutions from which 45 TVET graduates from various institutions attended.

In her statement, Dr. Muoria encouraged young people to take interest in the German language online courses offered at hub4africa.bayern to attain the A2 certification that is required in this process.
